Stuart R. Lynde certified as a Virginia Nutrient Management Planner

BLACKSBURG, VA (8/31/2004) - Stuart R Lynde, president of Environmental Services & Consulting (ES&C) has earned Virginia Nutrient Management Planner certification by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). Virginia's Nutrient Managment Program works to manage both urban and agricultural nutrients found in fertilizers, manure, municipal sewage sludge and other sources so that they r etain their efficient use yet don't impair the quality of Virginia's ground and surface waters. As a certified Nutrient Management Planner, ES&C is in a position to provide nutrient management assistance in the form of management plans to clients and help develop nutrient management strategies in cooperation with private industry to reduce nutrient runoff from lawns, office parks, golf courses and other developed lands.
